We are located at 2547 Kirby Bridge Rd in Decatur, Alabama. Our office hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday thru Friday. Our drive thru window is open from 7:30 AM to 4:30PM, Monday thru Friday. An answering service is available for all after hour emergencies. WMEL was formed in 1975 to provide drinking water and sewer services to residents of Morgan and Lawrence Counties. Over the past 46 years, WMEL has grown to provide drinking water to thousands of direct purchasers and also supplies drinking water on a wholesale basis to other water authorities in North Alabama.
